Brooke Gerlach is a photographer who loves to capture God’s natural beauty by taking photographs through the eye of the beholder. Brooke’s gallery is named Glimpses of Heaven because she wants you to be able to experience beautiful locations God has created.

Brooke graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Multiple Subjects Credential and is an elementary school teacher.  She has a passion for children, but photography will always be her first love. Brooke Gerlach has developed an interest in photography since 2006.  Her father, Brett Gerlach first showed her how to take a proper photograph. Brooke’s eye for color and detail has reached an astonishing state in recent years. Brooke has had many opportunities to travel the Western Part of the United States as well as Mexico and Canada. Her favorite place so far in her travels has been Horseshoe Bend in Page Arizona. Her second favorite place has been McWay Falls in Big Sur California. Her favorite subject matter is the desert and cactus. Brooke believes her soul lies in the desert and feels an incredible peace when in the desert.

Brooke Gerlach’s goal would be able to travel and photograph all the National Parks in the United States. Her inspiration is taking photos like Peter Lik her favorite photographer. Her father Brett usually accompanies her on these trips for some father daughter bonding time. When the two get together on a road trip prepare yourself for many stops along the road to view the many spots planned on their trip. Brooke can be seen on these road trips taking many iconic photos of gorgeous locations around the United States.

Brooke Gerlach also has a gift for taking portraits. She enjoys being able to be a part of your special event whether that be an engagement, birth of a baby, senior portraits, or just because photos.
